In my daily review on sites, I just checked hockeybuzz.com, and Eklund the master rumorspecialist, had the following on his post from 3AM today:
One little rumor for you….It looks like Yashin may want to return to Ottawa..and there is much more of course to that whole story….
Yea - like THAT will happen…..

Nah. I can’t see that happening. Yashin will emerge somewhere, but it won’t be in a Senator jersey.

I’ve heard Washington mentioned as a landing spot for Yashin. I tend to agree with both Lyle (Spector) Richardson and Drew Remenda of Hockey Night in Canada. They both think that Alexei might have trouble finding suitors and that he may have played his last NHL game
