Interesting… I really thought Berard would make it. I guess his agent and Garth could not agree on a $ figure, or length…. Oh well - I am also disappointed that Tambellini did not make the cut. I think that he has a larger upside than Hilbert. And Bootland is on the team to be a physical presence until Simon comes back. I wonder if he stays?

According to Greg Logan they might be still trying to workout a contract with Berrard and also trying to see who they will bump to make for him.
I really do hope they find a way to keep Berard. It never hurts to have another veteran on the team and from what I recall he was a big fan favorite when he played for us on the first go round. Hopefully Garth will do the right thing and unload someone - Freddy Meyer would be a good pick.
I hope so too.. I like Bergeron - but he is not a quarterback. He is a sniper.
And what th ehell is this? They’ve published two 23 man rosters in the passed few days, one of them with only seven D-Men. This eight defenceman roster thing…One of them could be let go to make room for Tambelini. Why, why do we keep snubbing Tambelini?
After what Berard showed in camp, I think it would be wise to have him a part of the team. He could be quite valuable on the power play, in particular. I hope this is a matter of just working out details.
