Let’s face it - I do not like the hockey player….
However, as a member of the human race, I hope that he recovers from the lacerated spleen that he suffered last night.
No matter what rumors you hear, that is a scary thing. He should make a full recovery before camp begins, and will be back to his usual pest ways.
That’s fine…
I may wish that he never has to play the Islanders again, but not for those reasons. Get better Sean.

When you get right down to it, no matter what team you are a fan of, it is guys who take the ice with lives and families. No one wants to see anyone be injured or have to deal with anything that hinders or endangers their career. I don’t like Avery as a hockey player who takes the ice, but whatever I think of him in that regard, I don’t know him as a person and wish him the very best.
