A perspective about the Islanders, Hockey and other ramblings from Gary Harding, a former Islanders Booster Club President and season ticket holder since 1989. The Blog Name, basically tells you where I sit. From Row B, Seat 1 in Section 317, I watch the boys that wear my home on their sweaters play hockey over 40 times (hopefully more) every season. As of October 2008, Gary is a member of the NYI Blog Box, a collection of Islander Bloggers, who will be working at the Coliseum this season, talking about their favorite team.

The twins were fired because they draw too much attention away from the other girls as well as distract the players. Tim doesn't like to share the spotlight. I heard how he spoke to one of them at their last game..in front of many of us fans..she could have his short hairs for that. Very unprofessional...and if Wang knew, Tim would be the one looking for a job.
Reply - <a href="#" class="quote" onclick="quote('37503','ishmael','The twins were fired because they draw too much attention away from the other girls as well as distract the players.
Once again, G, thanks for providing the sound clips. It's always interesting to hear from the guys and gain insights into that aspect of the game.

Against a team in the thick of things, it was a very solid effort. It certainly was great to be at the game again, and a victory only sweetened the experience. Other than giving up a bit too many shots and the lack of hitting an empty net when the Cats pulled their goaltender, I have no complaints. And, Okposo continues to shine. It's great to see this guy and the kid line generate excitement. Let's just keep it going, boys.
Reply - <a href="#" class="quote" onclick="quote('37333','John','Once again, G, thanks for providing the sound clips.
