A perspective about the Islanders, Hockey and other ramblings from Gary Harding, a former Islanders Booster Club President and season ticket holder since 1989. The Blog Name, basically tells you where I sit. From Row B, Seat 1 in Section 317, I watch the boys that wear my home on their sweaters play hockey over 40 times (hopefully more) every season. As of October 2008, Gary is a member of the NYI Blog Box, a collection of Islander Bloggers, who will be working at the Coliseum this season, talking about their favorite team.

Hey Gary,

I cant explain how frustirated I was last night. I literally threw my remote at the floor. The Islanders transition from Defense to Offense was so herrendous. They were trying to make 3 line passes and that is not good hockey. Bailey got lucky, the kid has got to step up and be more aggressive. What happened to all of the weight and muscle they claim he put on this off season? He was better last season (although its early). Where has Richard Park been? He gets the puck to the net 1s or 2 times a game. Brendan Wiit seems like he is always reaching for the puck when he should be utlizing his big body and taking guys out of the play. Last night I realized that this is a talent issue, and experience isnt going to change this, we need to pick up another strong offensive defenseman and a couple of goal scorers. I love the Isles, but this is frustirating. Check out my blog as well www.newyorkislandersjournal.blogspot.com.<div class="comment-remix-meta"><a href="#" class="replyto" onclick="replyto('62131','BrettB'); return false;">Reply</a> - <a href="#" class="quote" onclick="quote('62131','BrettB','Hey Gary,\r\n\r\nI cant explain how frustirated I was last night.
