A perspective about the Islanders, Hockey and other ramblings from Gary Harding, a former Islanders Booster Club President and season ticket holder since 1989. The Blog Name, basically tells you where I sit. From Row B, Seat 1 in Section 317, I watch the boys that wear my home on their sweaters play hockey over 40 times (hopefully more) every season. As of October 2008, Gary is a member of the NYI Blog Box, a collection of Islander Bloggers, who will be working at the Coliseum this season, talking about their favorite team.

Indeed, Brilliant. I have to admit that I had my doubts, but as has been said all along, if we play with consistency and you toss a lot of confidence in with this team, we can beat Anyone on any given night. Imagine if we start getting Bailey and others to start scoring consistently? I think Streit will come along and start to contribute offensive like he did last season, and it's just a matter of Bruno gaining his confidence back and showing the talent we know he possesses.

Overall, a truly Solid effort, especially by Rollie. JT's goal was the kind of "big goal" this team needs at those important time. It was ironic because about five minutes before JT scored, I had turned to my brother and had said that these were the kind of points in a game where JT or Okposo need to score the "big goal" to me a statement.

Just two quick observations about the Rangers. I really have caught very little of them this season, but I must grudgingly admit that they are a better club than I believed them to be. However, I must also agree with a comment a friend of mine made Monday night when we caught some of the game against Phoenix in which he said that he felt the Rangers were playing "above their heads" and that they would come down aa bit s the season passes.<div class="comment-remix-meta"><a href="#" class="replyto" onclick="replyto('62644','John Panarese'); return false;">Reply</a> - <a href="#" class="quote" onclick="quote('62644','John Panarese','Indeed, Brilliant.
