We played a strong third period and though there was that "sluggishness" in the second, the effort was there overall. In fact, to me, it seemed as if the Isles got stronger as the third period progressed. My only "complaint" is too many shots Missing the net. I believe that it was said some 16 shots missed the net by the halfway point in the third. It's tough enough when the opposing goaltender is sharp and aggressive, but you can't help him by missing good chances entirely.
